Early variant, matching numbers, Lebel bayonet and scabbard with the latter still having a fair amount of remaining blueing.An original frog is included.  French stamped serial # P 27067. Bayonet has French poincons, which makes further research possible. The  Curly "P" stands for the St Etienne Armoury.
