This is another P1842 French Yagathan Bayonet, this time engraved with the date February 1859 and manufactured at the Chatelraut Armoury, There is a possible unit mark on the scabbard impressed 12F. The cross guard has the rack number 118 and poincoins. The frog loop attachment has been period removed.
