1796 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword with a rigid shell marked to a C Hurt on the guard.Warrented to Cooper and Craven ( 1815-1817 ) with a post xxxx coat of arms.A significant amount of blue and gilt decoration is still extanct as can be seen in the images Includes an original scabbard. Missing quillion as is common with these swords.Manufacture is Cooper & CravenScabbard lacks rigidity so care is required in placing and removing the scabbard, ie, by holding the scabbard vertically.
