Possibly dates from early to middle of the 19th Century.
Of a type in use from the Maghreb through the Ottoman Empire as far as Indo-Persia to carry powder flasks and maintenance tools and ammunition pouches. 
The belt itself is in a poor condition and has completely split in two places. However, the leather pouches are in an acceptible  condition.
